A banker and mortgage lender for more than 30 years and past President of the Valley Bankers Association, Ruben has also given his time across Mission — serving on the boards of the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce, the Mission Economic Development Authority, the United Way of South Texas, the Mission Boys & Girls Club, the Mission Historical Museum, the Rotary Club of Mission, the Regional Mobility Authority, and the North American Butterfly Association.
